Horizontal Boring Mill Machinist
Stolle Machinery Company, a world-class manufacturer of two-piece
can machinery & high speed equipment, is seeking highly motivated
and experienced Machinist at our Englewood, CO facility. The
ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced and challenging
machine shop environment. This is a second shift position working
Monday – Friday 6:00 p.m. to 4:30a.m. The starting hourly
salary $21-$24/hr commensurate with experience.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Safely set-up large horizontal boring mills
by following program documentation and set-up sheets
- Operate machine efficiently and effectively
with minimum defects
- Assist manufacturing engineering personnel
in developing new processes and improving existing process
- Effectively communicate with other shifts
and co-workers providing necessary information allowing transfer
of work with minimum delays or interruption
- Inspect machined parts and adjust machine as
required to produce parts to exceed customer requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years
experience setting up and operating large horizontal boring mills
- Prior experience machining various types of
materials
- Ability to read and
interpret Geometric tolerances and machine program
- Interpret and edit new and existing CNC
programs using G-code format
- Ability to multitask and work as part of a
team
- Strong math skills
- Ability to record manufacturing time
transactions
- Capable of lifting 40lbs. and standing for
extended periods of time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills
- High School diploma or GED
