| Control
Systems Engineer Stolle Machinery Company, a
world-class manufacturer of two-piece can machinery and high speed
equipment, is seeking highly motivated and experienced Control
Systems Engineer for our Centennial, Colorado facility. The
ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging
environment. Some domestic and international travel required.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Create, maintain, design, program and test
electrical controls for equipment.
- Create, maintain, control and deliver,
BOM’s, prints and any other technical documents necessary to
manufacture, assemble, and operate parts and equipment.
- Specifying, programming and setup of AC
Variable Frequency Drives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues
(programming or hardware) related to the parts or equipment sold
or supported.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BSEE or 10-15 years experience in electrical
control systems design.
- Experience creating and maintaining Bills of
Materials for industrial machinery electrical components and
controls to customer standards.
- PLC programming for industrial machinery
- Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens,
Omron or Modicon controllers preferred.
- Knowledge of HMI/MMI programming for
industrial machinery
- Motion Controls – programming, set up and
servo motor tuning.
- Programming with Visual Basic or C++
- Troubleshooting industrial machinery systems
including:
- PLC
- HMI/MMI
- AC Variable Frequency Drives
- Motion Control systems
- Industrial Control networks such as DeviceNet, Profibus and
Ethernet.
- Exceptional CAD skills, preferably AutoCAD Electrical and
experience designing and creating:
- electrical schematics
- control panel layouts
- machine wiring diagrams
- on machine electrical component location drawings
- Familiarity with national and international electrical and
safety standards, including:
- NEC
- NFPA 70E
- CE standards
- EN954-1
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors,
and all levels of the organization
- Must possess the following qualities: high attention to
detail, responsibility and ownership,
follow-through, ability to multi-task, efficient time management
and organization skills and be
able function effectively in a high stress environment.
